Soundset: Wiz Khalifa
With an appearance many were calling questionable due to being caught with weed and going to jail only the night before the show in Texas, Wiz did in fact make it to the show to be welcomed by a huge crowd as ready to hear him as I have ever seen for even a headliner. Having never seen him live before was surprised to see a live band backing him, but it definitely added to the music and the show. Between smoking weed, rapping about weed, and advocating the crowd blaze up, he made known his appreciation for all the support following the pot bust the almost made him miss the gig, as well as the overall support his fans continue to give him.

His set was actually of pretty good length too. Lots of songs both new and old, and I totally called “Black and Yellow” to be a closing track. Lots of joking and goofing off on stage made it clear how much fun he has doing what he does. I find it amazing how that mentality on stage can make the entire show better and more fun. The fact %90 of the crowd was smoking weed, and the other %10 high from all the weed being smoked around them I think everyone was on the same page during his set either way. He definitely puts on a show I recommend seeing if you are into his music.
