LG G Flex and F3Q slider get Feb 5th release on T-Mobile

If you are a T-mobile customer and have been waiting for a release date on LG’s newest curved smartphone, today you are in luck. The company said the phone would be available to their customers on February 5th, and is available for pre-order today. If you don’t want to pay the full $672 asking price up front, you can finance it through T-Mobile. Assuming you go that route you can pick up a G Flex for $0 down and make 24 monthly payments of $28 which will just be tacked onto your monthly bill. They are even offering six months of Netflix free if you pick one up which is a essentially a $48 savings if that is a service you use. If you want some more information on the phone, head over to LG’s website for all the specs under the hood and additional pictures of the giant 6 inch curved beast.

The G Flex wasn’t the only device T-Mobile stated would be arriving on the 5th. By no means a flagship phone, the F3Q was also released as a more budget friendly option. Those who miss having a full QWERTY keyboard like that found on the OG Droid will be happy to see at least one manufacturer still believes they have a place in the market. Unfortunately, they don’t believe in it strong enough to make one on par in specs with their higher end phones. I for one prefer function over form, so if someone would make a powerful slider with top end internals I would definitely be interested. Having a super skinny phone is less important than being able to efficiently type on my phone, for me. Your mileage may vary. The F3Q will be priced at $0 down with 24 monthly payments of $13.
