Wed. the 18th: Bonfires / King Buffalo / The Meddlesome Bells @ Ortlieb’s
Meddlesome Meddlesome Meddlesome Bells have been called “the most criminally underrated band in Philly”… I’ve seen them and I can vouch for that. Don’t miss this one.
Thur. the 19th: My Morning Jacket / Strand of Oaks @ Tower Theatre
My Morning Jacket is arguably one of the best live bands around. While I can’t say I was too crazy about their latest album, these guys never disappoint.
Fri. the 20th: Mark Lanky / Otan Vargas @ The Fire
Mark Lanky is somewhere in between Elliot Smith and Johnny Cash. He’s a bit dark and broody, I dig it.
